Trying My Best to Catch Some Sunbirds

Shooting Birds: A Close-to-Impossible Task for me, especially when I'm using my 3X Opt. Zoom Compact Camera. However some common birds do give me a chance. Sunbirds are common all around S'pore, especially the Olive-Backed Sunbird. There were many of them below condo as they came to drink from flowers. One evening I tried shooting them. It took me about an hour to come up with these shots.

I believe that these are Olive-Backed Sunbirds. If they are not, please correct me since I'm not an expert in birds as I am in snakes.

This particular individual with the blue stripes on its throat was the main one I targeted since it was sitting there motionlessly for a long time. Here's a shot from directly below.

I tried my best to shoot it while it groomed itself. And this was the best I could get!

Hi Shawn. It's me. Those sunbirds are olive-backed ones. They are the most common sunbirds in Singapore.(not to make you feel upset but it is a fact) I've tried to photograph them too! It's not that easy for me......
