Loop Caterpillars

I was walking to my neighbour's house when I noticed something black in colour on the leaves of a plant ahead of me. Out of curiosity, I went closer to take a better look. It was a Black Loop Caterpillar. Within a few minutes I was back with my Camera to photograph it. I managed to find another one nearby too.

Loop Caterpillars are not very commonly seen here, and given the fact that these caterpillars are usually the larvae of Moths and not Butterflies, you may not know if these can make your skin itch if touched. But they looked very beautiful, I can say, due to the intense Black colour with White O's and a luminous Blue inside it. It was an awesome find.
