Natural Green

Went hunting around my house in the morning. I was still pretty sad that I wouldn't be able to go night-hunting again. But that thought faded away as I started searching. All the animals had one feature in common: They were green. Well at least almost all of them.

Grasshoppers were plentiful; I didn't really stop to turn on my cmaera and waste that much time and battery for that. hence I didn't take much shots of the different grasshopper species. Just 4 or 5.

Then a Green Praying Mantis came into sight. At first I thought it was another grasshopper and nearly ignored it.

After a few minutes of hunting, I noticed a thin green vine on the jackfruit tree slowly moving away. I realized that it couldn't have been a vine; it should be a snake! However, I was too late to capture it. It had gone high into the trees, making it near impossible to even spot it. I spent a few more minutes trying to find it. No matter how much I looked, it was nowhere to be seen. Damn. I had just missed my second snake. One that I had never seen before either.
